Ross Drysdale joined the firm as Counsel in February, 2005. He has over 30 years of experience in the legal profession specializing in corporate, securities and business law, with a focus on energy, corporate and commercial transactions, public and private financings, initial public offerings and mergers and acquisitions. He was previously a partner with a national law firm for twenty years and most recently a partner with an international law firm for two and one-half years. In his securities law practice he has been involved in the start-up and reorganization of many public companies and acted as director, officer and legal counsel to a number of these companies.

Mr. Drysdale is a former chairman of the Canadian Petroleum Law Foundation and the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers, Legal Committee. He is also a former lecturer to the Canadian Association of Petroleum Landmen.

Mr. Drysdale attended High School in Montreal and is a graduate of Mount Allison University (B.A. - 1969) and the University of New Brunswick (LL.B. - 1973).
