Kris practices primarily in the areas of securities and corporate law. He acts for both issuers and underwriters in respect of initial public offerings, financings, mergers and acquisitions, and all dealings with regulators including stock exchanges and securities commissions. His practice also involves general corporate and commercial matters.

Kris received his Bachelor of Arts (Double Major: History and Classical Studies) from the University of British Columbia in 2006. Kris also received his Juris Doctor from the University of British Columbia in 2010. During law school, Kris participated in both an Intellectual Property exchange at St. Peter's College, University of Oxford and a semester abroad at the University of California Berkeley School of Law. Prior to joining Burstall Winger LLP, Kris articled at a large Vancouver-based law firm.

Kris is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia, the Law Society of Alberta, and the Canadian Bar Association.
