Jennifer Smith practices in the area of commercial litigation. She has a wide-range of experience in litigation matters including the areas of oil and gas, securities, employment, real estate and other contractual disputes. Ms. Smith has appeared before all levels of court in Alberta, including the Court of Appeal, and has also appeared before administrative tribunals and participated in alternate dispute resolution processes.

Ms. Smith received a Bachelor of Science (Biology) from the University of Western Ontario in 1995 and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Saskatchewan in 1999. She was called to the Alberta Bar in 2001. Ms. Smith joined Burstall Winger as an associate in 2003.

Ms. Smith is a volunteer with both the Alberta Civil Liberties Research Centre and the Calgary Humane Society.
